Dr. Darla Miller, DPM
Dr. Darla Miller was born and raised in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Dr. Miller received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Lycoming College and her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a Podiatric surgical residency at Allentown Osteopathic Hospital, now St. Lukes Hospital. Dr. Miller is Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Miller bought a small practice in Selinsgrove, Pa in 1996. The practice grew and in 2004, Dr. Angelina Colton joined the practice. Dr. Colton was a former Temple University classmate. Several years later, both Dr. Miller and Dr. Colton formed Susquehanna Valley Foot and Ankle Center, Inc. Dr. Miller and Dr. Colton both treat patients at our Susquehanna Valley location in Shamokin Dam, PA.
Dr. Miller is on staff and performs foot surgery at Evangelical Hospital at the Evangelical Surgical Center. Dr. Miller treats a variety of foot and ankle problems in all age groups. Dr. Miller enjoys treating patients with Diabetes and peripheral vascular disease and focuses on prevention of amputation in this group of patients. Dr. Miller also enjoys treating challenging foot problems that conservative and surgical measures when needed.
In Her proudest accomplishment is her family. Darla resides in Lewisburg, Pa with her husband Scott, and 3 children, Miller, Mitchell, and Finley.
Dr. Angelina M. Colton, DPM
Born and raised in Troy, Pennsylvania. Dr. Angelina Colton received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a podiatric surgical residency in foot and ankle surgery at the Oakwood Hospital Medical System in Michigan. Dr. Colton is Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
She started working in private practice in Allentown Pennsylvania with Allentown Family Foot Care, PC. She was on staff at Lehigh Valley Hospital, St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown, Sacred Heart Hospital and Good Shephard Rehabilitation Hospital. She also participated as a residency teaching clinician for the St. Lukes Hospital podiatric residency program. After almost 8 years in the busy Allentown/ Bethlehem area Dr. Colton felt she wanted to settle down with her family in a small town community similar to where she grew up.
Dr. Colton moved to Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania in 2004 to work for Dr. Darla Miller, a former Temple University classmate. After several years, Dr. Miller and Dr. Colton became partners to form Susquehanna Valley Foot and Ankle Center, Inc. Dr. Colton and Dr. Miller enjoy treating patients at our here in Shamokin Dam, PA
Dr. Colton is on staff and performs foot surgery at Evangelical Hospital and the Evangelical Ambulatory Surgical Center. She treats a wide variety of foot and ankle problems of all age groups. She takes a special interest in protecting and treating diabetic foot conditions, including foot care, preventative diabetic shoe wear and even surgical correction when needed. Angelina resides in Selinsgrove with her husband, Steven Slotter, a local realtor and her two children, Bailey and Parker.
